The Children's Hospital of Wisconsin came to us to help them increase the visibility of their safety, health, and wellness program in a partnership with the Kohl's Cares program. We produced a multi-tiered strategy that included interactive kiosks located in the waiting rooms of doctor offices, a downloadable app where kids could play a brand new game designed specifically for CHW, and two websites that gave parents tips about keeping their children safe and taught teens how to be safe while driving.
The kiosk and the app had two sections. There was the children side of the app, which was a game that required them to navigate through a series of questions about safety as well as collecting coins to obtain the highest score. The other side of the app gave parents tips on how to keep their children safe in the home and outdoors. All the images and game graphics were created in-house, while the interactive portions of the app was handled by a third party vendor.
The two websites were created to give more information about the program, provide more in depth safety tips to both parents and teens, as well as more information about the CHW events.
